If I can choose an ideal neighborhood other than my beloved Spring Branch area, I would choose The Heights. Let me tell you why…. but first, a little history.
We moved to Houston 16 years ago in 2001 when there was nothing much happening in the Washington Area corridor. Back then Rice Military was our “only” option – we thought. We were close to the park, Downtown, I-10 and close enough to the Galleria. Which, to be honest, we don’t visit anymore. I guess having kids changed our priorities.
The Heights didn’t even crossed our mind, neither our Realtor’s mind at the time and I don’t know exactly why. I guess because back then there was still a lot of undeveloped land, tear down bungalows, and as I would call it then, rough areas.. . Oh my! We were there at the right time and we didn’t jump on it.
16 years later as a Houston resident, and a Realtor for 10 years I couldn’t agree more that The Heights is one of the most happening, exciting and inviting neighborhoods in Houston.
The Heights offers you value today, tomorrow, and for many more years to come. In residential real estate, a wide variety of price points brings in a beautiful mix of residents that harmoniously share very similar interests. Houses are priced from the $200’s to the $3M.
This neighborhood is booming with everything from high profile restaurants, art galleries, bike trails, wine bars, local shops, schools, architecture and so much more.
When you go to The Heights you feel at HOME. And we all should feel the same way. AT HOME. |
